My client from a commercial company is seeking a Sea Export Controller to join their team
Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit all necessary export documentation (e.g., bills of lading, invoices, customs declarations)
Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations and correct usage of Incoterms
Obtain permits such as SADC, GSP, and EUR1 for applicable countries
Ensure export documentation aligns with customs regulations
Facilitate the movement of cargo locally and internationally
Request authorization from TPT and TPNA (Cargo Dues)
Resolve customs-related issues, including discrepancies and penalties
Maintain accurate records of receipt, dispatch, and all clearing and forwarding activities
Work closely with procurement and sales teams to coordinate export activities according to demand forecasts
