On 14 May 2025, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) advised that the facility codes used in Box 30 on the Customs Clearance Declaration (CCD) had been updated to include details of the newly approved De-grouping Facilities – Ijubane Logistics (Pty) Ltd with code ‘BU’ and Fusion Dispatch Center with code ‘CD’. Both are based at OR Tambo International Airport.
For interest, the “SC-CF-19-A02 – Customs and Excise External Facilities Code List – External Annexure” document contains the following sections:
- TRANSIT SHEDS - approved in terms of Section 6(1)(g) at places appointed in the Schedule to the Rules (Rule 200.06)
- TERMINALS - approved in terms of Section 6(1)(hA) at places appointed in the Schedule to the Rules (Rule 200.07)
- DEPOTS – approved in terms of Section 6(1)(hB) at places appointed in the Schedule to the Rules (Rule 200.08)
- DE-GROUPING FACILITIES – approved in terms of Section 6(1)(hC) at places appointed in the Schedule to the Rules (Rule 200.09)
